Whether you want to stroll beneath the ancient rainforest canopy, discover a herd of dinosaurs, or climb on top of the Scenic Skyway to enjoy the sunset, there’s something for everyone this Summer at Scenic world.

Whether you want to stroll beneath the ancient rainforest canopy, discover a herd of dinosaurs, or climb on top of the Scenic Skyway to enjoy the sunset, there’s something for everyone this Summer at Scenic world.

Start your adventure with a ride into the valley on the world’s steepest railway – the Scenic Railway – followed by a walk along the Scenic Walkway, the longest elevated boardwalk in Australia, and listen out for the calls of the lyrebird.

After you spend 10 minutes or a full hour meandering beneath the rainforest canopy, get up close to the ancient sandstone cliff as you ride back up in the Scenic Cableway, the steepest cable car in the Southern Hemisphere.

And it doesn’t stop there. Jump on the Scenic Skyway for a bird’s eye view of the ancient valley as you traverse 270m above the rainforest floor (that’s twice as high as the Sydney Harbour Bridge!).

Take in the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls and Mount Solitary as the ‘floating’ look-out takes you across to the other side of the valley.

There you can explore Katoomba Cascades or even walk along the escarpment to Echo Point and back, before returning to Scenic World on the Skyway.

Then do it all again as many times as you like! Scenic World’s Unlimited Discovery Pass gives you unlimited rides and entry in one day.

A view like nothing else on earth

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience for a special occasion, the ultimate Instagrammable moment, or simply to get the adrenaline running, Beyond Skyway is for you.

Beyond Skyway is a world-first experience that takes guests to new and unexplored heights on the rooftop of the Skyway cable car over the Jamison Valley. Once on the roof, with nothing to restrict the 360-degree view, the experience is both exhilarating and completely serene.

An intimate adventure, catering to only four guests at a time, the Scenic Skyway parks in the middle of the Jamison Valley with views of the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls and Mount Solitary.

Guests, fitted with full body harnesses, climb up the ladder through the hatch in the roof and out into the open air of the cabin’s rooftop for a whole new perspective. Guests can then relax on the custom-made wooden bench sipping hot chocolate and taking in the sunset across the escarpment and the valley.

Each ticket includes complimentary refreshments on board the Skyway, digital photo files, and celebratory Mumm champagne, local wine or beer in the Skyway cabin on the return journey. Tickets are limited. Book now at scenicworld.com.au/beyondskyway

Local brews paired with the best view

Make the most of the longer days and warmer evenings – enjoy a cold brew and watch the escarpment change colour as the sun sets at The Terrace Bar.

Think Mountain Culture beers, Dryridge Estate wines and Hillbilly ciders along with warm pretzels and grazing boards.

The Terrace Bar has a bar snacks and drinks menu with locally sourced ingredients.

Open Friday and Saturday evenings until 8pm after the rest of Scenic World closes.

You don't need a ticket to Scenic World to visit and enjoy the Terrace Bar.

Annual Pass holders receive a 15% discount for everything on the menu. Just like the Blue Mountains, Scenic World is open every day of the year. Visit scenicworld.com.au
