Plughole Adventure Experience

As part of a very small group, we take you deep into the heart of the mountain. You abseil, squeeze, crawl and climb through an undeveloped cave, in overalls and helmet, with only your headlamp to light your way. As your confidence grows, the squeezes get longer. You'll see some fine crystal, but this experience is not about cave decorations. It’s about fun and adventure, and it’s called 'The Plughole' for good reason. Move through the 'Crystal Chamber' and take time for a breather in 'The Chapel'. The 'Armchair Squeeze' leads you into the 'Rockpile', then the aptly named 'Letterbox Squeeze'. The 'S-Bend' is your final challenge - your way out of the cave! You emerge dirty, with a brand new swagger and a feeling of achievement and exhilaration that only authentic adventure can provide. We provide everything. You don’t even need any caving experience. Just bring your thirst for adventure.   Pop into our café for light lunch and snacks. Stay overnight and savour delicious dinner and breakfast.
