The Mid-Mountains Garden Festival is a biennial Spring celebration held in the Blue Mountains. Private gardens are generously opened to the public to raise funds for Hazelbrook Public School, a local primary school.

It has been a much-loved community event since it was first established in 1984 and continues to thrive though the combined efforts of local gardeners, businesses and parent volunteers.

In 2026, eleven gardens from Linden to Lawson will be on show over the weekends of 12-13 & 19-20 Sept 2026. From charming cottage gardens to formal park-style acreages, each garden offers something different to admire and inspire, plus a scavenger hunt and activities throughout the festival to entertain the whole family.

All proceeds raised go to Hazelbrook Public School P&C to support a number of initiatives for the children at the school.
