The Blue Mountains have been home to my family and me since 2000, and they continue to shape the way I see the world. Since 2016, I’ve wandered their ridges and quiet tracks, photographing moments of change — fire, rain, renewal, and the stillness in between. My work has appeared in four exhibitions at the NPWS Heritage Centre in Blackheath, each one tracing a small part of this landscape’s story. In 2025, I travelled into the Outback for a workshop with Ken Duncan, and those images now form my Outback Oz gallery. You can explore my full portfolio or purchase prints at www.peterhickey.com.au.
