NPWS Blue Mountains kids’ and family activities
Overview
Looking for something to do with the whole family on your next escape to the Blue Mountains?
Description
Ready for a family adventure in the Blue Mountains?
Come and explore with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service Discovery Rangers, where nature comes to life with fun, hands-on activities for the whole family! On weekends and during school holidays, Blue Mountains National Park is bursting with exciting, guided adventures for curious kids and their grown‑ups.
Kids aged 5 to 12 can become Junior Rangers for the day—learning how to find their way in the bush, discovering the busy world of native bees whilst building their very own bee hotel.
As the sun goes down, join us on an evening spotlight walk to see what nocturnal animals come out to play, or start the day with a guided morning walk along the Grand Cliff Top Walk. Along the way, you’ll explore amazing plants, animals, and stories from this spectacular World Heritage–listed landscape.
