As part of the Hartley Discover Day, artists led by Renata Commisso and Cate McCarthy, will be running workshops for children aged 4+ followed by a street parade.

Inspired by the local native birdlife, children (and their adults) will make, paint and create their very own bird to take home. Once made, their movement and performing artists will guide the children in exploring how their bird moves.

Workshops run for 1 hour.

All workshop participants are invited to bring their bird and join a street parade led by a giant bird puppet — a fun way to be an active part of the day!

No experience needed - just some curiosity.

This activity has been made possible by the generous support of Regional Arts NSW, Arts OutWest, NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, LINC and Milk Crate Theatre.
