Dmitri Bouchin and Selena Griffith will discuss the impacts of light at night on our natural environment and the benefits of night conservation. They are founders of the Australasian Dark Sky Alliance, an organisation focused on reducing light pollution produced by homes, businesses and industry, in turn saving energy, money and the stars in our night sky.
The Lyrebird Festival returns in 2025, celebrating the spectacular Megalong Valley with music, art, food and wine, talks and nature walks. Founded and directed by the Bowerbird Collective, and supported by Lot 101, this event brings together some of Australia's finest musicians for a series of spellbinding concerts.
The Lyrebird Festival brings together art, science and conservation, and includes local culinary delights, intimate, world-class performances and an installation titled "Sonic Blossoms" by internationally renowned artist Jane Sheldon.
