Join the Wild Ground Team for a nature immersion session and some creative fun! Children aged six to 13 years will get hands-on with nature-based art-making, while also enjoying: nature play, bushcraft activities and nature connection games.
Designed as a drop-and-leave program, so parents can attend the Lyrebird Festival talks! An afternoon to explore, create, and connect with the wild.
The easy-access Megalong Valley location will be sent to participating families closer to the event. This is an all weather event, unless extreme conditions are forecast.
Please note: This session is facilitated by Wild Ground's trained professionals. The Lyrebird Festival accepts no responsibility for participants of this session.
The Lyrebird Festival returns in 2025, celebrating the spectacular Megalong Valley with music, art, food and wine, talks and nature walks. Founded and directed by the Bowerbird Collective, and supported by Lot 101, this event brings together some of Australia's finest musicians for a series of spellbinding concerts.
The Lyrebird Festival brings together art, science and conservation, and includes local culinary delights, intimate, world-class performances and an installation titled "Sonic Blossoms" by internationally renowned artist Jane Sheldon.
All events have been scheduled to allow for plenty of time moving between each location. All concerts and other events can be booked separately, or together with a Festival Pass.
