Immerse yourself in the tranquil and ever-changing beauty of the natural world with "Still Waters, Shifting Skies", featuring Queensland Symphony Orchestra's Principal Harpist, Emily Granger.
This program explores the serenity of dawn, rhythm of rain, shimmer of rivers, and the hush of snowfall through music inspired by nature's many moods.
Featuring works by Elena Kats-Chernin, Deborah Henson-Conant, Laura Zaerr, and more, this intimate performance invites audiences to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the quiet poetry of the earth.
The Lyrebird Festival returns in 2025, celebrating the spectacular Megalong Valley with music, art, food and wine, talks and nature walks. Founded and directed by the Bowerbird Collective and supported by Lot 101, this event brings together some of Australia's finest musicians for a series of spellbinding concerts.
The Lyrebird Festival brings together art, science and conservation, and includes local culinary delights, intimate, world-class performances and an installation titled "Sonic Blossoms" by internationally renowned artist Jane Sheldon.
The events schedule allows plenty of time moving between each location. All concerts and other events can be booked separately or together with a Festival Pass. Pricing includes a 'Pay what you can' option. All concert tickets include a single beverage and nibbles.
The Megalong Valley is one of NSW's special secret places - only two hours from Sydney. Transport from Blackheath Train Station can be arranged on request.
