Sean will be taking participants on a journey of expressive drawing using the traditional atelier method dating back to the old masters. In this course you will cover principals of proportion, line and gesture, and tone. Over the weekend you will explore these methods working from still life compositions that will give you a better understanding of how to approach and construct your work. There will also be demonstrations given to illustrate these topics.
You will be working with charcoal on paper which will give the opportunity for everyone to express their individual character
