The main attraction at Medlow Bath has always been the remarkably ornate Hydro Majestic Hotel.

The Hydro Majestic Hotel was built by Sydney businessman, Mark Foy in the early years of the twentieth century. His plan was to create a hotel which was also a 'hydropathic establishment'. By 1903 Foy had not only completed his therapeutic centre but he had also managed to change the name of the town from Brown's Siding to Medlow Bath.

There is an elaborate network of walking tracks, which were developed in the bushland between the hotel and the escarpment of the Megalong Valley. The tracks offer scope for many fine bushwalks and views of the Megalong Valley.
