Take a step back in time to the days of the radio plays.  Close your eyes and listen to the sounds that surround the epilogue that is elegantly performed.

Blue Mountains Radio Players have been performing for about 15 years in venues around Katoomba. Inspired by Juliette Palmer-Frederick, the ranks of the Players have included professional and amateur actors, usually about a dozen in number.

Performances are before a live audience, using mainly scripts transcribed from original performances of the 1930s 1940s and 1950s.

The repertoire includes plays from such long-running drama series as Suspense, Escape and Quiet Please! ; episodes from the comedy series Easy Aces, Baby Snooks and Daddy and Life of Riley ; and crimes solved by Sherlock Holmes, Boston Blackie and The Thin Man.

The Players currently perform at 2.30 pm on the last Sunday of each month, February to November.

There are 2 plays per session and Afternoon Tea is served after the performance.

Come and enjoy your theatre of the mind.
