Listen to live music at one of several local venues including The Clarendon Hotel, The Ivanhoe Hotel and the Hillcrest Coachman, from Wednesday to Sunday.
The Carrington Bar offers live entertainment, an open fire place and pool tables. Located above The Carrington Main Bar is The Carrington Nightclub, the place to go on a Saturday night to kick up your heels!
Screening the latest movies, the Edge Cinema is a great way to also see remote area of the World Heritage Wilderness area on the big screen with the Edge Movie which runs daily.

Night tours and activities
Venture out to experience the bush at night, in Blackheath. Listen for owls and frogs, look for possums and gliders and learn about other night creatures with a National Parks and Wildlife Service Discovery Ranger. This easy walk takes 1.5 hours.
Observe the stars and planets from one of the best observation points in Australia at the Kings Tableland Observatory, located in the National Park near Wentworth Falls. At an altitude of 930 metres, this high and dark site offers fabulous views of the southern skies. Three modern telescopes are available for use at the Observatory, which is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 7.00 p.m. (8.00pm during daylight saving)
Spot native wildlife including possums and bats, learn about the solar system and make your way to the marvelous glow worm tunnel, on a wilderness by night walking tour. If you’re lucky, you’ll see owls. Your guide may even treat you to the sound of the didgeridoo as you enjoy the tranquility of the canyon.
