Blue Mountains YHA, Katoomba is a winner of both State and National Tourism Awards for Best Backpacker accommodation. The YHA can accommodate groups of 100 plus (limit of 50 Saturday night only). Groups of up to 50 can have exclusive use of the group wing (with private lounge, dining and kitchen area) for $1200 per night. Self catering or fully catered options available.

Conveniently located in the heart of Katoomba, the YHA offers groups affordable accommodation with modern facilities. The fully renovated art deco guesthouse retains its original charm, bringing the glory days of Katoomba back to life.

Jemby Rinjah Eco Lodge holds Advanced Ecotourism Accreditation under the National Ecotourism Accreditation Program and was one of the first working examples of large scale sustainable tourism to exist in Australia. The Lodge was designed to coexist with and take advantage of the natural environment and has won several major awards both for innovative design and its successful operation as a tourism business.

Jemby Rinjah has a field studies program for senior geography students written specifically for the Lodge and its' surrounding environment. All programs are based on syllabus outcomes and contribute towards the fieldwork requirements of the subject. Jemby Rinjah is located within minutes of some of the best walking trails in the Blue Mountains and off site activities and visits can also be organised.

Every morning many parrots come to feed and lizards, possums, owls and nocturnal animals can be seen on the property. Accommodation is in three eco-friendly timber lodges, with bunk beds and capacity for up to 16 per lodge.

Jenolan Caves House is a short stroll to the famous caves, and is surrounded by pristine bush, home to a range of native wildlife - great for nature walks. For students, accommodation is available in a choice of two styles.

The Mountain Lodge (4-star rating) is a modern motel-style accommodation. All rooms are fully serviced, with queen bed, ensuite, kitchenette, television, telephone and iron.

The Gatehouse is a comfortable 3-storey bush-walkers lodge containing 14 rooms. Six have double beds and one set of bunks. Seven rooms have three sets of bunks. There is one flat (great for teachers) with 1 queen bed, 1double sofa bed and 2 single beds. There are unisex bathroom facilities and 2 common rooms with televisions, fridges and cooking facilities. Students can bring sleeping bags, or linen can be provided for a one-off cost of $4 per student.

School packages can include accommodation, breakfast and dinner. Special school menus are available at historic Chisolm's Restaurant. For lunch, students can bring their own, eat at Trail's Bistro or use the BBQ facilities. For indoor group activities, the Kanangra-Boyd Room (for functions/conferences) is available. Complimentary movies are shown every evening.
