Michael Newton - Guitar Recital

A showcase of new and traditional classical guitar music. The local guitarist Mitchell Newton will be performing music of favourite composers and lesser known works. The programme also includes Stele by the late Phillip Houghton.

Doors open 5:45pm Friday 27th April. "The Library" in the Carrington Hotel.

Evening 

6pm the Fireworks display accompanied by Samba-trombada 

The Grand Dining Room will host our Annual Winter Solstice Ball - This years theme will be Winter Masquerade

 

Retro Rehash from Radio Blue Mountains will be hosting the Event in the Baroque Room. 

The KTown funky horns are set to funk up the annual peasants ball held in the Ballroom 

 

There will be other events happening through out Katoomba across many venues day and night.

Winter Solstice Masquerade Ball

Come and Celebrate the Winter Solstice with us at The Winter Masquerade Ball

Our annual fireworks display will be at 6pm and be accompanied by Samba Trombada. For best veiwing grab a spot on the driveway.

Afterwards, put on your best Mask and join us at the ball, with a 3 course meal, beverage package and live entertainment, it is an event not to be missed.

Unlocking The Doors set out to capture the Shamanistic presence of Jim Morrison, the hypnotic bass lines and swirling keys of Ray Manzarek, Robbie Krieger’s legato blues inspired guitar modality and John Densmore eclectic fusion of Jazz, Rock and Latin drum beats for the ultimate Doors experience. Is everybody in? The ceremony is about to begin…….

One night only at the Baroque Room, located at the historic Carrington Hotel in Katoomba. Come and celebrate and evening of the unmistakable music and poetry that was The Doors.
