The Blue Mountains Region is a captivating world of National Parks, spectacular scenery, awe inspiring vistas and the grandeur of ancient mountains. Adjoining the Great Dividing Range and known as the city within a National Park, The Blue Mountains has vast serene bushland, cliffs and gorges, wilderness areas, rivers and waterfalls. The City of the Blue Mountains occupies some 1,436 square kilometres and its population is scattered across 110 kilometres of ridgeline in 26 towns and villages.
